Fallen Climber at Bonehill Rocks

At 15:15 on Sunday 5th February the team were called to assist the ambulance service’s HART team with a fallen climber at Bonehill Rocks.

A group had been bouldering on the rocks close to Widecombe in the Moor when one fell and injured their back.

Several team members including our two team doctors were close by and soon assisting the HART paramedics, as more team members arrived the casualty was moved to a more sheltered location and kept warm before being carried to the Devon Air Ambulance.

The team was stood down shortly after 16:00.
