Search in heavy rain for missing Exeter teenager

Concern for missing teenager

It has been a busy day for our volunteers after welcoming 170 people on our Templer Way Challenge fundraising event. The team were on their way back to the Rescue Centre after the event when they were diverted to assist Devon and Cornwall Police and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service with a search for a 17 year old boy in Exeter.

Our team of volunteers searched areas of woodland and undergrowth between Northbrook and Salmonpool weir in heavy rain with no further clues or sighting reported. We were stood down at around 10:30 pm and our soggy volunteers returned home to their families.
