Applying to be a team member
Being part of the team is a big commitment with the expectation that you attend callouts, weekly training meets and fundraising events. If you can’t realistically meet this commitment, then being part of our dart2ZERO support team will be more suitable. dart2ZERO volunteers assist the team with fundraising, support tasks around the Rescue Centre as well as volunteer to be casualties on training nights. dart2ZERO volunteers are not on call and don't have the training commitment of full members.
If you can meet the callout, fundraising and training commitment and wish to join the team as a trainee callout member then please click the button below:
For all other contact
For all other contact, including dart2ZERO volunteering, arranging a talk/presentation to your group, Rescue Centre tours, press or fundraising enquiries, please complete the form below.
Team member talks/ Rescue Centre tours: Team member presentations to groups and Rescue Centre visits are a fundraising activity and we ask for a minimum donation of £60 which can be a cheque or cash donation, or your group getting involved with a fundraising event. We do get a lot of requests to present and hence requests at short notice (less than 3 months) are likely to be turned down as we don't have the resources to support them sorry. Our Rescue Centre tours run by active callout members typically take place on Saturday mornings throughout the year for up to 25 adults/children. The tour includes a close up look inside our vehicles including our Incident Control vehicle, as well as the chance to see and try out our equipment. To book your tour, (or talk) contact our fundraising officer via the form below.
