We are pleased to report that Morley has returned on his own accord today.

    Callout report –

Devon based rescue team Dartmoor Search and Rescue Ashburton, affiliated to Dartmoor Rescue Group and Mountain Rescue England and Wales, were deployed on a major multi agency search for missing Ashburton man Morley Petherick.

Following a very long search on Thursday looking for Ashburton man Morley Petherick (http://www.dsrtashburton.org.uk/callout-20141127),our Dartmoor Search & Rescue Team (DSRT) Ashburton volunteers were asked to cover additional search areas today.

The searching continued for the missing man in the Ashburton area. Around 30 our members and DSRT Plymouth, plus two search dogs and 12 members of Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service searched throughout the day. Unfortunately the search revealed no further information as to what has happened to Morley and our search teams were stood down 6pm.

Morley was last seen on Sunday night (27th Nov) at his home on Dartmoor, just north of Ashburton. He is believed to be wearing a green shooting jacket, blue jeans and white trainers, and is believed to be in possession of a black and yellow torch. He has no phone, money, bank cards, or any other personal items.
